All details
were taken from records held at The Imperial War Museum, Lambeth, London SE, The
Records Office, Myddleton House, London EC and The National Archives, Kew Surrey
by Miss Sybil New of Kennington, London SE in the year 2003/4. Unfortunately, a
vast number of WWl service records were destroyed by enemy air raids during WW2,
which may account for her not being able to find all details of those who made
the final sacrifice.
