Parish Plan Update January 2007
We are proud to say that our Re-Open the Post Office project has been successful, and is now running smoothly inside Toomers Garden Centre. Please call in on Neville Stone, the Postmaster, and give him your support - it is still needed to avoid our inclusion in any future Post Office closures. See the article in 'Hot Spots', and the setting up costs shown in the November 2006 Minutes.
Our Holborn footpath project continues, and we are now liaising with Wiltshire County Council over the plans.
We are also starting to look at a Feasibility Study for a Stone Lane footpath. Applications are under way to find most of the Study costs, so that as soon as the Holborn footpath is complete, we shall be in a position to start the Stone Lane project. Much work still needs to be done on both projects, and grants will need to be sought soon.
