Parish Councillor Vacancies

There are currently two casual vacancies on the Parish Council. It is hoped that these seats can be filled a the meeting to be held on 1st June 2017. Annual Parish Meeting

The Annual Parish Meeting will take place on Thursday 25th May 2017 in the Lydiard Millicent Parish Hall. This meeting is open to all residents of the parish.  (22/05/17)


Loss of evening bus service in Lydiard Millicent


Please note that the times of the 53 Bus will change from the 2nd April 2017

From the 2nd April 2017 there will no longer be an evening service between Lydiard Millicent and Swindon.

The last bus will now depart from Lydiard Millicent (Sun Inn) at 15.33 and the last bus returning from Swindon will depart Swindon Bus Station at 18.50.

Please refer to the Stagecoach website for full details of the new timetable as there has also be changes in the times of buses leaving Lydiard Millicent for Swindon in the morning and return from Swindon in the evening.



New Parish Councillors Wanted


The Parish Council are three members short and with an annual election coming up on 4 May, we are trying to attract new blood.
We are holding an open evening from 7.30 to 9.00 on Monday 20 March at the JCH Hall at the sports field, when Councillors will be present to explain what we do and answer any questions.
If you have an interest in joining The Parish Council, please come along and find out informally what is involved
